CAMERA OBSCURA: POEMS

Centuries ago, artists used a box with a pinpoint hole to project a detailed image of a scene outside the box. The camera obscura permitted them to recreate the most minute details of that scene --- details often invisible to the naked eye.

These poems serve as my camera obscura, allowing me to examine situations rich in complex, sometimes troubling emotions, ending in a series of sonnets inspired by George Steiner's seminal work, After Babel.
